Take the Outer Banks for example -

With property managers lined up along the main drag on the Outer Banks of NC, the competition is undoubtedly one of the most saturated in the country.

How can you set yourself apart? Because people use the internet to surf and shop around most of the time pictures have a huge impact on whether a renter will choose one house over another.  Having pictures that are accurate, updated, large and clear can increase conversions. The top 3 deciding factors or whether a renter will reserve are price, pictures and location. Since the price isn't the most flexible piece and location can't be changed pictures are something that can be the most important part.

Set yourself apart by having your rentals photographed by someone who has experience, can properly expose the pictures, and know what the travelers are looking for. Having internal staff take pictures of your inventory just won't cut it anymore. Differentiation can put you ahead of your competitors in a saturated market full of property managers.

This goes for other markets as well, The Disney area where I have been told that there are nearly 700 property managers with nearly 30,000 vacation rentals in a 20 mile radius.

Travelers have a lot to choose from and many property managers to do business with. Why have potential renters turned away by not providing sufficient pictures for them to view?
